Islamic Enhancement Programme

On the 9th - 11th of February 2007, I have gone to Pantai Balok, Kuantan to attend the Islamic Enhancement Programme (IEP) which is an annual programme for all of the staff of IIUM. It was such a fruitful programme and there were many useful new information that I have gained to enhance my knowledge especially in the teaching profession. The theme for IEP 2006 is "Teachers' Roles in Students' Personality Development".

It was attended by 192 academic staffs and generally, there were many slots for discussion session. We were splitted into three main groups; Orange, Blue and Green and in each of the group has another five subgroups. Each main group have to discuss three different topics regarding "Students Academic Achievement", "Students Extracurricular Activities" and " Students Dicipline".This is my first time participate with IEP and at the same time I have been appointed as one of the committe for this programme. It is such a wonderful experience and Alhamdulillah it was running smoothly.

We stayed at Swiss Garden Resort & Spa, Kuantan which you can see the birds eye view of Pantai Balok from your room. The room was very cosy and comfortable but what matter most was the precious experience that I have gained along the programme; get to know other staffs from different departments and of cause sharing knowledge and experince with them.

Alhamdulillah...Thanks to Allah for giving me the opportunity to be one of the IIUM's staff.
